What's your greatest fear? The dark? Spiders? Ghosts?
Or is it trust?
Trust is one of the greatest risks we take.
I remember thinking about all the things that have happened, and wondering why I couldn't be transported back to my childhood when everyone was innocent and not blinded by ambition and motives.
'Childhood innocence' it was called.
But then again, when you think twice about this so-called innocence, it wasn't all that 'innocent' actually.
Do you ever recall sitting next to someone on a bus trip for a school excursion just because they had toys you wanted to play with or snacks you wanted some of? Or even choosing your friends based on what they could do, or more importantly, what type of dolls they brought to school?
Because hidden in all that 'innocence' was still ambition and a motive. From the start, people have always chosen things for personal gain. So cut the crap about everyone being pure and happy when you were a child, because none of that happened. Even if we did feel pure and happy, it's because we were living in a blissful ignorance of the things that we were actually doing, probably because we were too foolish to understand at that point in life.
Then you grow up, and things change. The reason now for choosing your 'friends' is now how popular they are, and what they can do to bring your reputation up. But the reasons for then dumping that so called 'friend' also gets more complex.
And so it goes, on and on. Our foolish and childish actions just repeat themselves over and over but keep getting more and more complex until we literally tangle ourselves in a web of mistrust and lies.
Those who are lucky enough to be able to say that they haven't been in this 'web', continuing living in your OWN web of lies, and blissful ignorance.
On a brighter note though, D-UNIT released half of their new album today :)
Even though I have to say (and this is probably heavily disputed) that I think that D-UNIT could do without their 'member which possesses extreme beauty' a.k.a Janey or also known as JNEY (what is the fucking difference between having the A and taking it out ._.) and her slightly but not-so-bad annoying voice, I still love the song, and kudos to Zico for producing this sexy piece of shit (as he just does. naturally) and also D-UNIT for all pulling it off like sexy motherfuckers.
BANG. Listen to it.
